How it works

A framylo is a little window for your wall, with a place you love behind the shutters. Here is how yours comes together.

1. Pick your two colours. One colour for the shutters and the key hooks, one for the frame around the photo, its top and the little balcony. Choose from Blue, Yellow, Red, Green, Black and White. Pick the same colour twice for a one-colour frame.

2. Add a name, if you like. Up to 10 letters A to Z, raised on the top cover. White letters, or black when the frame is White or Yellow.

3. Choose your photo. It takes a photo of 8.8 x 10.7 cm, the classic Polaroid size, and an Instax Wide photo fits too. Any photo trimmed to 8.8 x 10.7 cm works. Every frame comes with a sample photo card inside, so it is ready to hang the day it arrives.

4. Slide it in. Open the shutters and pull the top cover straight up and out: the thin plate below it comes out with it. Lay your photo on the front of the plate, hold it there and slide both back down from the top until the cover sits in place.

5. Click on the balcony. Push the balcony onto the two pegs under the window until it clicks, then fold the two hooks down.

6. Hang it. The 2 strong tape pads are already on the back. Peel off their film and press the frame firmly onto a clean, dry, smooth wall for 30 seconds. Wait 24 hours, then hang your keys: the pads hold the frame with your keys on the hooks. Prefer screws? Open the shutters and pull out the top cover with your photo: behind it are 2 hidden holes, 7 cm apart, for 3 mm flat-head screws, 20 to 25 mm long (not included), with 5 mm wall plugs on concrete or block walls. Then slide the cover and photo back in.
